It will be available for the West exclusively in digital format via the Nintendo eShop this coming Fall.

The renown “spiky haired” Phoenix Wright travels overseas to the Kingdom of Khura’in, where the court of law functions very differently to the style in the United States. There people experience “lawyerless trials” – and it’s up to Wright to change these rigid ideals and save a dear friend of his in the process.

Who is this friend you ask? It’s none other than his burger-loving assistant, Maya Fey, with a new older look:

Retaining her playful and cheerful charm, Maya returns to the Ace Attorney series with great enthusiasm. Her last appearance was in the crossover Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, where she functioned as an additional puzzle solver (and amnesiac assistant baker) in the city of Labyrinthia. In terms of the main Ace Attorney series, her last appearance was in the third game, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations.

For those unaware, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (or more commonly known as Ace Attorney 6) is part of an ongoing visual novel series on Nintendo handhelds. The Ace Attorney series stars Phoenix Wright and later attorneys Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes in their enduring quest to prove their clients innocent. Both serious and comical at times, the case-solving goals involve both puzzling investigative gameplay and drawn-out courtroom battles.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice will release September 2016 for the west.
